Fatherless Friday - Jensen

Did you know that November is Adoption Awareness Month?  Well if you didn't come and celebrate with me.  Share this with everyone you know.  We are breaking from the norm around here.  I have a cutie for you that is not a girl and doesn't have AMC.  Trust me we will be back to some AMC beauties soon.  This little guy has stolen my heart at the moment.  He is just a cutie.
Meet Jensen.  I told you he was a cutie.  This little lovey is 2 years old.  He was born in July, another plus for him in my book.  He is deaf.  Check out his Reece's Rainbow profile here.  Don't let that scare you.  We have so many resources here for the deaf and hard of hearing in America.  Please take a long look at his cute face and share, share, share.  Lets find some families for some boys.

This Blog

I wanted to say that I am not scraping the blog.  I still want to share with you the children that touch my heart.  I am sure if Victoria knew what was about to happen to her, she would want others to find a family too.  I won't be changing the name.  Victoria really could be any child that needs a family.  Victoria is not her real name it is a name that was given to her by someone at Reece's Rainbow.  Plus we still have a lot of work to do for Victoria and her family.  I challenge all you Victoria lovers out there to keep praying for her.  Pray for her heart.  Pray that her heart has been spared.  Pray that she will transition into her new family with ease, that she will be able to accept love, and she will be able to heal from all the hurt she has experienced.  This is no easy or meaningless task.  Trust me when I say that finding a family was the easy part of this process. She has been in a mental institution for 6 year.  6 years locked away and mostly in her bed.  6 years without love.  We don't know what her baby house was like before that.  She may never have experienced love.  I have read enough blogs from adoptive families that I know this can all be healed.  Love can heal a lot of wounds, but it will be no easy task.  Don't give up on Victoria just yet.  Don't give up on her family that we prayed for, for so long.  I challenge you to print Victoria's picture and put it some where you will see it.  Every time you see her picture say a small prayer for her heart.  I will keep Victoria's picture up on the blog until she comes home as a reminder for everyone to pray.
